breaking news : After an outstanding season, Fulham is “trying hard” to sign a player. Asking a price shouldn’t cause any issues.

Borussia Mönchengladbach and Fulham are vying for the signing of Cameron Puertas, a midfielder for Royal Union Saint-Gilloise.

All indications lead to Puertas departing the Belgian team this summer, according to Fussball Transfers.

According to their source, Mönchengladbach is reportedly “going all out” for the 25-year-old, and the “courting” around him is getting intense.

Gladbach is among the clubs interested in the dynamic midfield player, although Fulham is also keeping an eye on him.

In that sense, the German side was the first to step up and is currently making real progress toward an agreement. In fact, there are rumors that the club has already extended an offer to him, and a €15 million transfer cost is under consideration.
Though Fulham is also “trying hard” to sign the player, they have an advantage because Gladbach would view the player’s €15 million asking price as too expensive at this point. After selling Joao Palhinha, they have cash to spend this summer, and €15 million is not typically a difficult amount for any Premier League team to match.

The player, who recorded 14 goals and 23 assists in 56 appearances for Union SG last season, may now want Marco Silva’s team to increase their efforts. Those are, to put it mildly, amazing stats, and it appears Fulham is very much in the running as the competition to sign him now heats up.
